Rachel Weisz
Can't help but love Rachel Weisz. The actress, who has long been debated by fans on being hot or not, has an incredible mix of roles that actually require her to fall into character. Unlike the last actress discussed. Blowing up thanks to The Mummy franchise, Weisz has a slew of respectable roles including those in Enemy At the Gates -- thanks for the butt shot -- Runaway Jury and Constantine.
Weisz, who recently went semi-indie with her husband Darren Aronofsky, is now set to join a new indie adventure.
Rachel Weisz for The Brothers Bloom
According to Variety, Rachel Weisz has been picked up to star in the indie adventure The Brothers Bloom.
Rian Johnson wrote the script and will direct.
The Brothers Bloom tells the story of two brothers who are among the world's best con artists. The younger brother decides to quit their life of crime, but he's persuaded to do one more job, swindling an eccentric millionaire.
Project is Johnson's first since helming fest favorite Brick. Ram Bergman, who also produced on Brick, will produce The Brothers Bloom with Endgame Entertainment.
The film is expect to begin shooting in the first quarter of 2007.
All of us Weisz buffs can see the actress in the upcoming Aronofsky film, The Fountain, starring her and Hugh Jackman.
