Amy Adams filmography continues to grow while pushing Cruel Intentions 2 further out of memory. Yes, it was fun to watch her be a total sloota, but come on.
Amy Adams for Sunshine Cleaning
According to THR, Amy Adams is in negotiations to star in the upcoming indie feature Sunshine Cleaning.
Christine Jeffs and Karen Moncrieff will co-direct.
Based off a script by Megan Holley, Sunshine Cleaning tells the story of a 30-year-old woman (Adams) who has squandered her life's potential on dead-end relationships and her younger sister, who is trying to find her way in the world. The sisters find meaning and understanding through an unlikely enterprise, their own crime scene cleanup business.
Both Jeffs and Moncrieff have a little history behind the camera including Sylvia for Jeffs and Blue Car for Moncrieff.
Though we plan to always play upon a Cruel Intentions 2 joke when discussing Amy Adams, the young actress is working on improving her filmography. She recently starred with Will Ferrell in Talladega Nights, Leonardo DiCaprio in Catch Me If You Can, and was nominated for an Oscar for her perfomance in last year's Junebug. She also has quite a few projects coming our way including Enchanted, Underdog and Charlie Wilson's War.
Production on Sunshine Cleaning is expected to begin this February.
