Touchstone Pictures has
released quite a few new updates for their upcoming period thriller The Prestige starring an all-star cast including Michael Caine, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Scarlett Johansson.
Pull back the first curtain and we have three new TV spots and, with a flick of the wrist, KABOOM!.. A ton of movie stills. Seriously, if you blinked you would have missed it.
The Prestige TV Spots and Stills
From acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan (Memento, Batman Begins), comes
a mysterious story of two magicians whose intense rivalry leads them on
a life-long battle for supremacy full of obsession, deceit and jealousy
with dangerous and deadly consequences.
The TV spots -- titled "Secrets," "Deceived," "Twist and Turn" -- are very Christopher Nolan-ish with their dark atmosphere and a cinematography that combines sharp and gritty. I still dig the font transitions as well.
To warm you up for the TV spots, check out 'The Pledge' with these movie stills. Only then can you get to 'The Turn' and then 'The Prestige.'
