The Weinstein Company
has released the first trailer for their upcoming drama Breaking
and Entering starring Jude Law, Juliette Binoche, Robin Wright-Penn,
Ray Winstone, Martin Freeman and Vera Farmiga. Though the poster suggests something to the likes of Closer, this film has even more drama; and not the scandalous kind.
Breaking and Entering Trailer
A story about theft, both criminal and emotional,
Breaking and Entering follows a disparate group of long-term
Londoners and new arrivals whose lives intersect in the inner-city area
of King's Cross. When a landscape architect's (Jude Law) state of the art
offices in a seedy part of town are repeatedly burgled, his investigations
launch him out of the safety of his familiar world.
The film is interesting, but somewhat hard to get into. When you are robbed once and high-value equipment and information is stolen, you get an improved security system; not seduce the suspect's mother. But hey, maybe that's just me.
