Here is a brief update for Columbia Picture's Casino
Royale. Composer David Arnold, who has not had a single new news report since August, has recently (yesterday) announced that the soundtrack for the upcoming Bond installment is good and done.
Casino Royale Soundtrack Done
Done, as in he is finished composing it. David Arnold, known for his music in films such as Stargate, Independence Day, Tomorrow Never Dies, Godzilla, Shaft, Die Another Day, Man on Fire and Four Brothers (just to name a few), has posted a new update on his way-too-much-flash website. Seriously, Arnold's official site almost sent my computer into cardiac arrest.
The recording and mixing of Casino Royale finished early this morning 11th October.The soundtrack album will be released by Sony Records. We don't have a release date yet, but the good people at Sony are pulling all the stops out to get it out ASAP.
If Columbia Pictures has really turned up the motor to 'ASAP' for the Casino Royale OST, maybe we can get a preview of some of the tracks this following week.
Casino Royale comes to theatres on November 17th.
