Naomi Watts for The Birds Remake?
TMZ announced on October 6th that Universal Pictures and Michael Bay's production company, Platinum Dunes, have teamed in order to remake the Alfred Hitchcock classic, The Birds.
Though the project looks like it is just getting off the ground, a starring name has already been mentioned. Who? Well, if Universal is hoping to crown Naomi Watts with the title of "Remake Scream Queen," then she is on the top of the list. Wait a second, she is on the top of the list.
According to TMZ, Universal is planning to make an early offer to Naomi Watts. With King Kong and The Ring under her belt, this chick knows how to scream.
TMZ also goes on to claim that Universal is looking to add a couple other projects to Watts to-do list as well.
Who to direct? Well, once Bay begins closing out Transformers, he could become available. Just think of high-octane birds with even more explosions.
