Eragon
Surprise, surprise. We have been alerted that the
official site
for Eragon now
comes with a link that -- wait for it -- lets you enter the site!
So, what little goodies does Fox have in store for us?
Eragon Site Breathing Fire
The "Eragon Mobile Scavenger Hunt" is
now up and running. By texting the word "Hunt" to 20Fox, participants
can collect clues for a chance to win cool prizes including $1,000 cash,
Eragon games from Vivendi Universal, book packs from Random
House (with one signed copy of "Eragon" and a copy of "Eldest")
and Eragon collector's cups from Mountain Dew.
One thousand bucks or a signed copy of Eragon? I think
I'd go with Eragon; especially since that Paolini-published
version went for bucco bucks on Ebay. But would you really sell it?
Besides the "Hunt," the official site comes packed with flash
enabled menus that are surprisingly in-depth for how recently the site has
gone live. The only thing that is fully incomplete is the 'Features' section.
No matter, you can waste enough time checking out the cast profiles (how
about some character profiles?), your more common than commoner downloads,
a look at the upcoming game, and a ton of new movie stills. With so many
new stills I can only ask myself one thing -- why the hell haven't we gotten
these?
For those of you who like to add a little of your own flavor to the site,
20th Century Fox has packaged it with more than a few selectable themes.
