Sex and the City alum Sarah Jessica Parker has been sticking close to comedy. After finding success with Family Stone and Failure to Launch -- opposite Matthew Howeveryouspell -- the actress has discovered a genre that fits.
She will now again try her luck with Dennis Quaid by her side.
Sarah Jessica Parker for Smart People
According to Variety,
Sarah Jessica Parker will star opposite Dennis Quaid in the upcoming comedy Smart People. Actress joins a cast that includes Thomas Haden Church, Ellen Page and Ashton Holmes.
Parker will replace Weisz in lead role.
Smart People tells the story of a doctor who falls for a professor whose wife's death has turned him into a bitter man.
Noam Murro will direct off a script by Mark Poirier.
Parker recently wrapped the Mark Brokaw-directed Spinning Into Butter. Other projects on her to-do list include Family Affair and Slammer.
Thomas Haden Church recently finished shooting Spider-Man 3, where he plays the villain Sandman.
The extraordinarily cute Ellen Page was recently seen in the twisted film Hard Candy and X-Men: The Last Stand. Hard Candy is credited for scaring pedophiles across the globe.
