Didn't see this pairing coming. Dennis Quaid and Ziyi Zhang will join up to co-star in The Horsemen.
Quaid, Zhang for The Horsemen
According to Variety,
after four years of sitting around, The Horsemen has finally found some financing thanks to the Stranger Than Fiction production company Mandate Pictures.
Besides kicking over the bucks, Mandate has also got Ziyi Zhang and Dennis Quaid to board the project.
Written by David Callaham, The Horsemen features Quaid as a bitter detective grieving over his wife's recent death. While investigating a case, he discovers a shocking connection between himself and the suspects in a serial killing spree linked to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
It has not been announced what part Zhang will be playing.

Dennis Quaid can next be seen in Sony's Vantage Point and is ready to begin filming Smart People. Zhang recently wrapped The Banquet and will star in a remake of Seven Samurai for the Weinstein Co.
