Dixie, a 10-year-old girl moves to a small town in Florida with her
father, a preacher, and adopts a stray dog with whom she embarks on a series
of adventures.

The film is an adaptation of Kate Dicamillo's perennial best-seller, which didn't fall short of awards, nor is it falling short of talent. This adaptation is staring Anna Sophia Robb, Jeff Daniels, Elle Fanning, Dave Matthews, and Cicely Tyson. This film is directed by Wayne Wang and distributed by 20th Century Fox.
