Inside Man
With the success of the crime thriller Inside Man, Universal has already got Spike Lee and producer Brian Grazer back working on a sequel. But who to return to the second installment? All one must do is unroll the film's official poster and bam, three names.
Inside Man Sequel Coming
Though Spike Lee is only in negotiations with Universal Pictures to return for an Inside Man sequel, the director is already hard at work working with scribe Russell Gewirtz to get a script ready. Gewirtz wrote the original script.
Lee and Gewirtz are keeping the sequel concept under wraps, including whether it would involve the return of the original's main characters, played by Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster. (Pictured to the right)
With films like She Hate Me, Bamboozled and He Got Game, Spike Lee had never experienced exaggerated box office receipts until Inside Man. So it should come as a no-brainer on why he'd want to move forward with a sequel. The film was able to take in a whopping $184 million at the box office.
Lee, who has no problem being made at people, directed the Hurricane Katrina documentary When The Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts for HBO.
He is currently in talks to direct Selling Time, a supernatural thriller for 20th Century Fox.
