Kirsten Dunst
After showing us just how ravishing she could be with powder-white hair as Marie, Kirsten Dunst has not only returned to the side of Spider-Man, but that of a Jealous Ghost.
Kirsten Dunst for A Jealous Ghost
Paramount Vantage has picked up Kirsten Dunst to star in the recent acquisition of A Jealous Ghost, a supernatural novel from author A. N. Wilson.
Film 360 is also on board to produce.
360's Ben Forkner, who discovered the book in 2005, immediately thought of Dunst after finishing the last page. The actress announced that she was interested in starring in a psychological thriller to the likes of The Shining and Polanski's Repulsion. The last time we saw Dunst in a supernatural thriller she was sporting red curls and had an unsatisfied craving for blood in Interview With the Vampire.
Scribe Megan Holley will write the screenplay with a slightly different take on the book. The story will be written in third-person omniscient, therefore dropping certain elements while creating new characters and story points.
Dunst will play a young woman studying in London who, upon beginning a relationship with one of her professors, begins to see demons.
See Dunst this Thursday with the release of the feature trailer for Spider-Man 3. The actress is currently in theatres with Marie Antoinette.
Stay tuned for updates.
