The release for the long-awaited The Fountain is finally approaching and will bring the latest Aronofsky adventure into theatres just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. I had hoped Warner Bros to kick their marketing machine into gear by now for the film, but I guess they are waiting for Columbia Pictures to get it out of there system with Casino Royale.
Or maybe they are just being lazy.
Either way, the first clip we have seen has appeared online.
The Fountain Bathtub Club
Having a loved one struck with a terminal disease has got to be incredibly hard. Such an emotional roller coaster is shown with the latest clip featuring Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman discussing her character's imminent demise. Judging by the clip, this film is going to be one heck of an act-a-thon for Weisz and Jackman. Nice work.
Besides the incredible acting, you also got to hand it to Weisz and Jackman for being able to hook up right in front of husband onlooker Darren Aronofsky.
Check out the first clip, which we call 'Bathtub', in Quicktime.
The Fountain opens to theatres on November 22nd.
