It's finally here! A week earlier than originally
expected thanks to Viacom and iFilm, the feature trailer for Spider-Man
3 is now available online in HD!

It's true, we were first told we'd have to wait
until the release of Casino
Royale before we'd be able to watch the latest feature trailer for Spider-Man
3. It was only up until a few weeks ago that we learned we would
have the trailer for the third Spidy installment online by tonight; you
will have to wait until Casino Royale though before
checking out the trailer in theatres.
The announcement on the trailer promised something innovative, so how did
it do? Well, I had a rough start considering that iFilm didn't have their
shit together on the HD format by the time of the trailer's release. I instead
had to stick with iFilm's normal player -- boo! -- and watch the trailer
in the smaller format.
But it still looks damn good! Though I thought it would be the 2nd Green
Goblin that got no love in this installment, all the action seems to rest
with Harry (James Franco) and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church); I couldn't
find a single shot that shows Spider-Man fighting Venom.
Does Venom and Spidy throw down in this installment or is it all about getting
the symbiote off?
Another new piece of information that threw me
off was the news that it was Flint Marko (Sandman) who killed Uncle Ben
and not the carjacker. What? Did Peter get the wrong guy in the first installment?
How the heck is that possible? As Aunt May warns, revenge is like a poison.
It just so happens that there is a symbiote out there that, like a poison,
can help Parker exact his revenge.
