Uma Thurman
Uma Thurman has been looking for company on the set of The Accidental Husband for some time. Nobody wants to call Yari Film Group last minute, but the small production company has recently picked up the rest of the film's cast just in time for shooting, which begins today.
Colin Firth, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Sam Shepard, Isabella Rossellini, Lindsay Sloane and Jusina Machado for The Accidental Husband
Yari Film Group cut it close with their upcoming romantic comedy by picking up Colin Firth, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Sam Shepard, Isabella Rossellini, Lindsay Sloane and Justina Machado just in time for production. We have all heard about films beginning production without a couple important players -- *cough* Casino Royale -- but The Accidental Husband was missing an entire cast save Thurman. The actress is good, but nobody is that good.
The film is being directed by Griffin Dunne off a script penned by Bonnie Sikowitz, Mimi Hare, Clare Naylor, Kristen Buckley and Brian Regan.
If you do the math, this film recently had more writers than it did cast.
Thurman plays a love doctor who hosts a local radio show about relationships. When a listener (Machado) takes her advice and dumps her boyfriend, only to regret it, she decides to wreak havoc on the doc's personal life.
