Now that Warner Bros has again confirmed that the first teaser trailer for
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will arrive this weekend with their other property, Happy Feet, we have decided to give a brief rundown on what we know about the first preview (so far).
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Teaser Info
Before we get to the details of the OotP trailer, we might as well touch upon the preview's running time. As expected from a teaser, the BBFC reports that the teaser trailer for Order of the Phoenix will come in at just under a minute (0:56). The trailer has been given a rating of PG.
With less time than it takes Dobby to threateningly snap his fingers, Warner Bros barely has time to show off the list of characters old and new while giving us some new imagery to stick in our head. The good people over at AICN received a report on the trailer that gave the following details:
My memories a bit sketchy, but the scenes that stuck in my mind are Dumbledore speaking angrily to the ministry of Voldemorts return, Professor Snape telling Harry that he "won't last two seconds if He (voldy) were inside his head." and the order leading Harry on a flight above London. There were quick flashes of main characters, old and new and a frightening image of evil Voldy emerging from a gray haze of fog (or smoke). Looks Good!!
Everything sounds pretty good... for a teaser. So when can we expect to see the trailer online?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opens to theatres on July 13th, 2007.
