Eragon (fanmade)
It looks like Fox was a little unsure about which feature trailer they wanted to use for the upcoming fantasy Eragon and ended up solving their conundrum by releasing a different trailer to each country. Yesterday we had the Japanese trailer and today we have a new trailer straight out of Austria. Like the Japanese trailer, the preview is still in English.
Austrian Eragon Trailer
Though each trailer has been pretty similar, save the Japanese version's rendition of Mozart (no joke), each has also featured at least a few new scenes from the film. The only thing that scares is me is that it is like pulling teeth to get Fox to release additional dialogue from Eragon lead, Edward Speleers. Each new trailer does come packaged with a few more dialogue tracks from Eragon, and they only sound OK. Though he has the look, his voice -- again, only judging by the trailers -- comes off somewhat weak in a few spots and close-to-strong in others.
The Austrian trailer for Eragon features a bit more magic, more shots of an infant Saphira, more dialogue from Eragon, and then finishes a lot like the domestic TV spot; which is still probably the best preview yet.
The Austrian trailer for Eragon is available in Windows Media.
With Eragon now only a month out, one has to wonder how many more of these trailer versions Fox has left on the saddle.
Thanks to 'Fatty Lumpkin' for the heads up.
Eragon comes to theatres on December 15th.
