Shawn Ashmore is Iceman
Just because the X-Men took their
Last Stand doesn’t
mean that we’ve seen the last of them. With Hugh Jackman on the PR
prowl for his numerous films in theaters, we are anxiously waiting to hear
any solid details about the Wolverine prequel. But he isn’t
the only mutant looking to branch off on his own. Rumor has it that Shawn
Ashmore’s “Iceman” is patiently waiting for his chance
too.
“I have a contract if they make another one that I have one more film,”
Ashmore said. “There are sort of rumors about an X-Men 4
or something like that but as far as I've been told, X3
was going to be the last sort of big, ensemble X-Men movie.
I would love if they made another one but I'm not sure that they will.”
Well even without an X-Men 4, we might see Iceman’s
return to the big screen in a well wished for “Mutant Academy”
movie or other spin offs. But this was news to Ashmore. “I didn't
know that there were any,” Ashmore said.
