The season of Harry Potter is almost upon us with the theatrical release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Warner Bros is definitely getting into the spirit of giving. With the teaser trailer for OotP only available in theatres this weekend with Happy Feet (and satellite), Warner Bros figured they should at least give us a taste of what to expect when the teaser trailer comes online Monday.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Teaser Preview
That's correct my little and big wizards and witches, Warner Bros has sent over feeds that preview ten of the fifty-six seconds shown in the teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. What do they show? Well, it is only ten seconds, so here is brief rundown:
- Snape saying that Potter wouldn't last two seconds if you-know-who tried to invade his mind.
- Shot of Harry Potter.
- Shot of Ron Weasley.
- Shot of Hermione.
- Harry defending his strength. Snape says, "then prove it."
- Possibly the beginning words of "Dumbledore's Army."
The trailer looks dark and reminds me a lot of Alfonso Cuaron's Prisoner of Azkaban. Though non-existent in this installment, even Dolby has to appreciate that.
