The Dark Knight
For those of you who haven't been paying attention to the net this last week, Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that the release date for the sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, is set for July 18th, 2008.

Only a day after my 27th birthday (getting up there!), Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine will return to the screen in the next installment in the Batman franchise with the addition of Heath Ledger as Batman's next villain, the Joker. Or return villain, repeat villain, however you want to say it.
Warner Bros. Pictures is still looking for the actor to play Harvey Dent, a new character to the films who is not only the Gotham DA and Bruce Wayne's friend, but the man who later becomes Two-Face.
One more time for those of you who missed or are suffering from short-term memory: The Dark Knight opens to theatres on July 18th, 2008.
Production is set to begin on The Dark Knight early 2007.
