Pierce Brosnan
Just because Pierce Brosnan has left the 007 world, doesn’t mean he’s interested in giving up the espionage just yet. Even though he has already done the spomedy (come on, stay with me: spy-comedy) when he starred against Greg Kinnear in The Matador, and after being buttered up for a year by New Line Cinema, Brosnan has decided to do another one in Spy vs. Stu.
Pierce Brosnan for Spy vs. Stu
So we know who the spy is, but who’s this Stu guy? The original screenplay focusus on a perpetually single, Stu who is just about to propose to his girlfriend while on their tropical vacation. Problem is, there is this charming, alpha spy (Brosnan) fresh off saving the world who has found some interest in Stu’s girlfriend. Just as you might imagine, it turns into Stu having to go tet-a tet with “Spy” to win over the undying love of his girlfriend.
Brosnan will not only star in this movie but will act as producer under his company, Irish Dream.
No director has been hired as of now.
Stay tuned for updates.
