Eragon
For those of you looking for a little light reading, Sci Fi Magazine's December 2006 issue has a feature on the upcoming adaptation of Eragon.
Eragon In Sci Fi Magazine
Thanks to 'Rogue21' for the heads up, Eragon is expected to appear in many December issue magazines and has made one of its first appearances in Sci Fi Magazine.
Thought I'd let you in on something I came across concerning Eragon. If you haven't picked up the latest issue of SCI-FI Magazine, now's the time. There's an article on the movie including a full page of images from the film & what's especially cool is a picture of Eragon riding Saphira that stretches across the first 2 pages of the article. It's an awesome close up shot of Saphira wearing armor!! Also included in the article is an interview with Christopher Paolini. Here's some of what he had to say:
"I originally conceived Eragon as a movie. I saw the characters and action clearly in my mind. But since I didn't have the money to produce a film, I ended up writing it as a book. I am thrilled Fox is bringing my vision to life."
Then the article goes on to say that Paolini was home-schooled & graduated from high school at the age of 15, when he first planned his trilogy of books & wrote the first one within the span of a year.
And that's just the beginning of the article, that's all I've read so far. Oh, and to answer your question about the feathers on Saphira's wings- they do look like feathers, but you can clearly see scales as well. They look pretty good blended together, so have no worries.
Thanks to 'Rogue21' again for the heads up.
Eragon comes to theatres on December 15th.
