Snakes on a Plane
Perhaps the only man who bought into this summer's
Snakes on a Plane
hype more than us internet folks was its star, Samuel L. Jackson. Going
on the talk show circuit with what should have been the biggest movie of
the summer, Jackson fanned the flames.
Interview: Jackson Reflects on Snakes on a Plane
Now that the film had mixed success at best, and
Jackson is onto his next film, Home of the Brave, he reflected
honestly about Snakes. "It was a fun ride and people
had fun doing it and building up the hype to it," said Jackson. "I
guess a lot of people learned a lot of lessons behind it that a lot of people
who sit at home and kind of do this and have fun doing it don't go to the
movies. But I had a great time doing it."
Still, Jackson has no regrets. "I'm still very pleased that I did the
film. I'm still very glad that people got to see it and I'm actually kind
of sorry they're not releasing it for Christmas so people can buy it and
give it to people."
To keep hope alive, I still maintain, "Get
these motherf***in' snakes off this motherf***in' plane!"
