This is the scariest rabbit... ever.
I have always been meaning to write an article
about the inside workings of the cult classic Donnie Darko. First
off, this film takes a couple viewings to just understand the premise. It
takes about ten viewing to pick up some meanings, and about twenty viewings
to claim you truly understand the film.
Well, with the re-release of Donnie Darko in a 'director's cut',
I may have to write this article after all. But, for now, how about some
clips from the director's cut of Donnie Darko.
Donnie Darko Clips
"Why do you wear that stupid man suit?", "Wake up Donnie.",
and "Poppa Smurf set up gang bangs with Smurfette as he watched."
are just a few of the classic, at times trippy, lines you should hear when
viewing Donnie Darko. I have to admit that I have yet to see the
Director's Cut, but have seen the original many times. Actually, most of
the times fell within a single two-week period. For those of you who have
not seen Donnie Darko, hopefully the clips posted at MovieFone
will convince you to at least try a rental. You can even use this film to
scare small children.

The new Donnie Darko clips will be posted either tonight or Friday
morning [depends all on Moviefone]. Since I have already viewed this film
[repeatedly], I am hoping that they are wise enough to post some logical
scenes, as this is one of those films that require you to watch the whole
thing [that's right-- no bathroom breaks].
