Coming back to theaters is Mel Gibson's Masterpiece-The
Passion Of The Christ. However, this version is for the weak-stomached
in that this version will have about 6 minutes of some of the most graphic
footage taken out. This version is scheduled for limited release on March
11, 2005.
THe Passion- Director's Cut?
I assume that this is a call not just to the weak-stomached, but also to parents of young children who wanted their kids to see the movie but chose not to due to the explicit violence. I could say that this is fair, but why a theatrical release, why not just a DVD/video release of the recut?
Anyway, for all of you who passed up The Passion on the silver
screen due to vivid illustration of this fundamental biblical event, you
now have a second chance-wait, second chance, is this a metaphorical release?
