Wow, this seems like a real uplifting movie that
should get you nice and perked up for the holidays. Starring an impressive
cast that includes Josh Brolin, Rose Byrne, Toni Collette, James Franco,
Marcia Gay Harden, Mary Beth Hurt, Piper Laurie, Brittany Murphy, Giovanni
Ribisi, Nick Searcy, Mary Steenburgen and Kerry Washington, The
Dead Girl is about just that, a dead Brittany Murphy.

When any film kicks off with a brutalized murder,
you immediately know that you aren't watching Santa Clause 3.
With a tagline that goes "When One Life Ends... Seven Others Begin,"
you can also count out the whole feel-good movie aspect. So, what is The
Dead Girl?
Though we are still waiting on our official synopsis, The Dead Girl
tells the story of a brutalized murder that kicks off the tale of seven
individuals that are, in one way or another, related to the event. As we
learn more and more about each character, we discover what drove the dead
girl to her twisted fate.
