I think I am going to be sick. After suggesting that this film better be at least PG-13 this week, 20th Century Fox has posted that Eragon has received a PG rating from the MPAA.

Come on, what the hell is this film, Chronicles of Narnia?

Eragon Rated PG

Even Harry Potter is rated PG-13, what the heck is Eragon missing that caused them to miss this cut. The book features death, violence, and decapitated soldiers, what has changed?

The PG rating is the first real sign of trouble for this film. What the heck was Fox thinking?

Just in case you need to see it for yourself, 'Bradley' has pointed out that the official site for Eragon now has the rating up clear as day. So lame.

I am going to say this one more time, this blows dragon.

Eragon comes to theatres on December 15th.

Stay tuned for updates.
