One of the remaining films of 2006 that we are really looking forward to is Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth. With solid reviews clean across the board, this film is one foreign picture you have to see.
Pan's Labyrinth Clips
That being said, the good people at Bloody-Disgusting are now offering our first full plate of clips for Pan's Labyrinth. Before you ask, yes, this film is subtitled.
Pan's Labyrinth is a fanciful and chilling story
set against the backdrop of a fascist regime in 1944 rural Spain. The film
centers on Ofelia, a lonely and dreamy child living with her mother and
adoptive father; a military officer tasked with ridding the area of rebels.
In her loneliness, Ofelia creates a world filled with fantastical creatures
and secret destinies. With post-war repression at its height, Ofelia must
come to terms with her world through a fable of her own creation.
Not only do the clips look great and fantastical, they are all especially long; which is always a nice touch. Check out all the clips for Pan's Labyrinth at Bloody-Disgusting.
Pan's Labyrinth will have a limited release on
December 29th.
