Eragon
With the release of Eragon just a little over a week out, 20th Century Fox has finally begun to release some movie clips for the film. First up is a set of three, which ain't too shabby.
Movie Clips: Eragon
More clips means more scrutiny over whether Fox delivered an adaptation faithful to the book. Though the recent announcements of running time and MPAA rating were taken as bad news, the clips still look pretty good. We even get to see how Fox saved a bit of budget.
While Eragon travels with Saphira she grows from infant to a nicely sized dragon. It turns out that it would have been very difficult to have multiple versions, or should I say sizes, of Saphira through out the course of the film. Fox cured this problem by having some magical effect age Saphira in the blink of a second. It was an easy out, but we can let them slide on this one. Besides, the effect does look pretty cool
Besides dragon, we also get to hear quite a bit more dialogue from the film, which is thankfully not cheesy.

Eragon opens to theatres on December 15th.
