Dennis Quaid has decided to join the cast of The Express as the coach and mentor of Ernie Davis. The Express is the true life story of the running back great, Ernie Davis. Davis attended Syracuse University in the 60’s and broke more color barriers than HDTV. After winning the Heisman Trophy and being selected #1 in the NFL draft, Davis was diagnosed with Leukemia and never did get to play a down of professional football.
Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond) has written the most current draft of the sceenplay for the movie that should start filming in March.
