If you happened to visit Yahoo! last night you may have noticed that the feature headline was titled "A Boy and his Dragon." Dragon, dragon, who has a dragon? Those of us anxiously awaiting the release of Eragon to theatres this December immediately assumed that Yahoo! had to be offering at least a couple exclusive clips for the film and so there are!
Movie Clips: Eragon
Two clips -- that is what Yahoo! has in store for us with Eragon. The first clip, titled "Not So Bad Up Here", features Eragon's first official ride on the dragon. Or so I think, as he didn't perform that gracefully; but I must admit he is a quick learner.
The second clip, "A Time for Retribution", introduces Murtagh, who fans of the series knows to be.... ah, ah, ah, not giving that away. If you pay close attention, you will notice that Murtagh is played by Garrett Hedlund, the same actor who played Patroclus in Troy. You know, the one who had his neck slit open by Hector. Thanks to his experience on that set, one would have to assume he knows his way with a sword.
