I hate to say it, but I cannot even remember what
Mortal Kombat: Annihalation was like. Well, I guess it doesn't
matter for the next Mortal Kombat film, Mortal Kombat: Devastation.
The third Mortal Kombat film will basically throw the two previous films
out the window and begin anew.

The good people over at Moviehole
recently confirmed that not only is Mortal Kombat: Devastation
planned, but filming of the movie will begin as soon as may. Hooray? Well,
I guess it depends on how much you still like the video games.
The entire cast from the original Mortal Kombat [Christopher Lambert,
Linden Ashby, Robin Shou, Chris Casamassa, Talisa Soto] should be making
a 'come back' return to film the next adventures for the deathmatch superstars.
While I wish I can say this is exciting news, maybe we'll at least get some
new dance tunes out of it.
Talisa Soto will be returning.
