It looks like Pitt, Clooney, and Damon will be back together... again.
It seems that Clooney cannot get himself away from
the success formula found in Ocean's Eleven [and Twelve
for that matter]. With the success of the Ocean's sequel, Clooney
has gone forward to purchase the rights to re-create another ratpack film--
Robin And The 7 Hoods.

I'm sure most wouldn't of had to guess, but other Ocean's actors
cannot help themselves to this remake as well. Clooney already has 'guarantees'
from both Brad Pitt and Matt Damon to co-star in the film. If Clooney could
get the whole Ocean's cast to transfer over, we could just call
it Ocean's Thirteen- Robin and the 7 Hoods.
While I have to admit that the new 'super cool' genre is turning out to
be a hit, I was already beginning to get burned out by Ocean's Twelve.
After a while the coolness just begins to wear off.
The original Robin and the 7 Hoods came out in 1964 and featured
the original ratpack [plus others] such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy
Davis Jr, Bing Crosby, Peter Falk, and Barbara Rush.
The only question now is whether or not Steven Soderbergh is also addicted to staying cool.
