Dimension Films and Darclight films have teamed up to exchange the distribution rights to the horror Storm Warning in domestic territories.
Dimension Acquires Storm Warning
Dimension Films and Darclight films a division of Arclight Films jointly announced today that Dimension has acquired all North American, Australian and New Zealand rights to the horror/thriller Storm Warning, by the filmmakers who terrified audiences with Urban Legend and Wolf Creek. Directed by Jamie Blanks (Urban Legend, Valentine), STORM WARNING was written by Everett De Roche and was produced by Gary Hamilton (Wolf Creek) and Peter Ford, and was executive produced by Martin Fabinyi, Michael Gudinski, Greg Sitch, and Mark Pennell. The film stars Nadia Fares, Robert Taylor, John Brumpton, David Lyons, and Mathew Wilkinson.
A couple becomes lost in a massive storm and realizes that the only way they are going to live through the night is to kill their deranged captors.
Michelle Krumm stated, “This is an absolutely terrifying horror film that really pushes the boundaries of the genre and is sure to shock audiences everywhere.”
Jamie Blanks stated, “Storm Warning is one of the most ambitious low-budget projects ever attempted in Melbourne. The sheer level of special effects, both prosthetic and digital, in this picture is staggering and dwarfs anything I had previously attempted in the U.S. with my previous movies.”
