In what comes as one of the first interesting/awkward pairs to enter production in 2007, the great Willem Dafoe will join up with the equally great Jeff Goldblum.
Willem Dafoe for Adam Resurrected
Willem Dafoe has been picked up to star opposite Jeff Goldblum in Adam Resurrected.
Written by Noah Stollman based on the novel from author Yoram Kaniuk, Adam Resurrected concerns a former circus entertainer who was spared the gas chamber so he might entertain thousands of other Jews as they were marched to their deaths. After the war, he becomes the leader at an asylum populated by Holocaust survivors.
The premise sounds so deeply troubling that one can only wonder which actor will become the 'entertainer'.
Filming begins in April in Germany, Romania and Israel.
You can next see Dafoe in upcoming films such as Mr. Bean's Holiday and Anamorph.
