Spider-Man 3
It was first rumored that there might not be enough action in Spider-Man 3. After something James Franco mentioned was blown out of proportion, Columbia Pictures and other cast responded that the film has a ton of action.
Well, here is Franco again and, now that the film is far enough along in post-production, he admits that the film will be action-packed.
Franco Talks Spider-Man 3 Action
The good people over at ComingSoon have caught up to James Franco and discussed Spider-Man 3 as well as the possibility of a Spider-Man 4.
"Spider-Man is a combination of a lot of green screen and action," he told us. "I mean I shot one action scene that took six weeks for one scene, and then there's months and months and months of work on the computers that I'm not even a part of. When I see those movies, it's a different movie for me, and the process feels completely different than the result. Although Sam is one of the most fun directors I've ever worked with, the process can be tedious. You do small little segments, and when it all adds up and you see the final result, it's still surprising to me just because it sure doesn't feel that way when you're doing it."
What about a fourth installment? Franco says the contracts are up, but admits that the cast does have a blasty blast hanging out with Raimi on set. If anything, expect pay increases for all.
Spider-Man 3 opens to theatres on May 4th, 2007.
