Donal Logue in Blade
According to TheHollywoodReporter,
two more have been casted for the upcoming Ghost
Rider
adaptation. Peter Fonda and Donal Logue have joined the cast
of the film starring Nicolas Cage, by Columbia Pictures.
Fonda is Mephistopheles
Fonda will step in and take the role of the devil named Mephistopheles.
The same devil that Johnny Blaze [Nicolas Cage] sold his sole to in order
to save his dying father. By doing so, Blaze is forced to leave the love
of his life, Roxanne Simpson. Blaze is later given a second chance when
Mephistopheles offers Johnny Blaze an exchange. If Blaze becomes the fabled
Ghost Rider, doing service and providing vengeance for Mephistopheles, he
will be allowed the return of his soul. With the ability to recover his
lost love, Johnny Blaze quickly takes this option. However, Blaze gets more
than he bargains for when he must match up to Blackheart [Wes Bentley],
Mephistopheles' [Peter Fonda] enemy and son.
Logue is Mack
Donal Logue, known for films such as The Patriot, Confidence,
and the television show Grounded for Life, is set to play the part
of Mack. Mack is to Johnny Blaze as Alfred is to Batman or as Whistler is
to Blade. Get the picture? Mack is the standard comic book guy behind the
guy.
Stay tuned for updates.
