One of the leaked Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith movie posters.
Chris Gaede, over at Joblo, was able to run into
George Lucas and get him to discuss movies, film history, and the future
of Star Wars. Lets just look at Star Wars shall we. Is
there anything after Revenge
of the Sith?
Lucas Talks Star Wars
Here is a snippet of what George Lucas has planned for the future of Star
Wars. Now, it does look like Lucas has now confirmed the rumor of Star
Wars television series plus an animated series that will cover the
clone wars more in depth. Take a peak:
He also stated that there will be more Clone
Wars cartoons (it wasn't clear if he was referring to the new series beginning
in March, or another series after REVENGE OF THE SITH) and that there would
likely be a STAR WARS TV series. When asked about future STAR WARS movies,
he said that there would be no more, and that "...7, 8 and 9 were made up
by the media." Lucas again mentioned that he would like to direct smaller
films, but could not elaborate on what those would be.
You can head over to Joblo
to hear all the latest Lucas goodness.
Remember, Star Wars: Revenge
of the Sith will hit theatres on May 19th 2005. May the
force be with... on getting an opening weekend movie ticket.
