It looks as if Billy Bob Thornton has found the
role that fits him best. The type of role where he plays the somewhat trashy,
and still lovable, character who doesn't seem to give a damn about anything.
You know... Bad Santa. Well, Billy Bob Thornton is now applying the 'I-don't-give-a-damn'
formula to his latest film, The
Bad News Bears.

The only reason that The Bad News Bears looks good, is because of Thornton's
tough ass attitude as he coaches little kids. My favorite part is when he
beans all of them at practice. The director, Richard Linklater, is known
for films such as Dazed and Confused, The School of Rock,
and the upcoming animation A
Scanner Darkly. So, there is definitely some promise here.
