Sandman is Spider-Man's next
Sandman is Villain
According to AITC,
the next Spider-Man villain will be Sandman, who will be played
by Thomas Haden Church [Sideways]. This should come as a surprise to most
Spider-Man fans, as the rumors never pointed in this direction. Judging
by the early buzz, and Spider-Man 2, the expected villains were
suppose to be the 2nd Green Goblin [Harry Osborn], The Lizard [Parker's
professor], or Venom [Brock, a competitive co-worker of Parker's].
Now I begin to worry, as I do not know how long Tobey Maguire is gonna be
able to hold onto his young looks. Every next Spider-Man film could
be the last, so we need to get some of the big bad guys in there [*cough
Venom].
However, while I consider this villain choice bad
news, there are others who are ecstatic right now. So, take it either way.
