This is the ultimate movie trailer that many, maybe
even yourself, have been waiting for. When I first heard about the movie
Night Watch
I had heard the rumor that this film was able to beat out both Return
of the King and Spider-Man 2 at the Russian box-office. Now,
this film is gaining ground as it goes fully international, making its next
stop here in the US.

Besides scaring me at the beginning, the movie
trailer for Night Watch is pretty damn good and definitely allows
one to get some sort of an idea on what type of film this is. The trailer
calls the film a horror, even though others would argue and call Night
Watch an action/thriller. For more on Night Watch, read the synopsis:
Set in contemporary Moscow, Night Watch [Nochnoi Dozor]
revolves around the conflict and balance maintained between the forces of
light and darkness -- the result of a medieval truce-between the opposing
sides. As night falls, the dark forces battle the super-human "Others" of
the Night Watch, whose mission is to patrol and protect. But there is constant
fear that an ancient prophecy will come true: that a powerful "Other" will
rise up, be tempted by one of the sides, and tip the balance plunging the
worlds into a renewed war between the dark and light, the results of which
would be catastrophic.
Night Watch is the first installment of a trilogy based on the
best-selling sci-fi novels of Sergei Lukyanenko entitled 'Night Watch, Day
Watch, and Dusk Watch'.
