Sahara Sahara
It has been twice proven now that moviegoers love treasure adventures. We first had National Treasure, which, in the face of par reviews, did amazing at the box-office. And now we have Sahara, a film, starring Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz, Steve Zahn, Dayna Cussler, and William H. Macy, that was able to beat out the wonderfully dark film Sin City.

April 8-10 Weekend Box Office 2005

BoxOfficeMojo just released the estimate for this weekend's box-office report. I had a feeling it was going to be close between Sin City and Sahara, but in the end it was Sahara that came out on top. I guess not being an 'R' rated film can really help when it comes to box-office numbers.
