Sorry for the slow updates today, but we are working
with slow news, no internet and a new server. Thanks to the quick arrival
of a warm storm, our internet has been going in and out the entire day...
killing efficiency. Besides that, I have also been updating the site today
to help accomplish, well, more.
CanMag.Com Updates
We have finally updated CanMag.Com from a Martin
Short size server to a, I don't know, Carrot Top size server. Some day we
will move to an Ah-nuld size server, but for now this fits. It's bigger,
it's faster and it should load pages for all of us a whole bunch quicker.
The move was completed early this morning around 5 AM. If you were unable
to connect around this time, now you know why and here is an 'our bad' out
to you.
Other than that, since I did have a whole bunch of down time thanks to lightning
almost hitting my roof and waking me up around 3 AM this morning, I have
been cranking out polished scripts that should also allow the server to
run quicker and load pages faster.
As of right now, our fingers are crossed on this
latest change.
If you notice the difference in performance due to our recent changes to
the server and programming, please give is a shout.
