Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Finished
Earlier this week it was confirmed that JKR had in fact finished writing
the story for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This is an
exciting event as JKR is usually pretty private on how far she has gotten
in her writing. The only thing to come out of Rowling is that more characters
would die. Now that she has finished writing the book, we had to wait a
couple days to hear from the publishers on when HBP would be published.
I expected the release date to be between August and November of 2005.
Harry Potter HBP Release Date Announced!
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released about a
month before I predicted; which is refreshing. HBP will be released
at midnight in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New
Zealand and South Africa on Saturday, July 16th, 2005. Bloomsbury will be
releasing both the hardback childrens and adult versions [same text, different
cover] of HBP with a suggested retail price of $29.99. Let me shout
the date again: July 16th, 2005.

It has not even been a day since the news has broke about the release Harry
Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and people have already flocked to book
