The hit animated series on the net, Doogtoons, continues to expand its empire with a new animated celebrity talk show that will feature "Weird Al" Yankovic and Tommy Chong.

And we thought "Ask a Ninja" was a huge addition.

Doogtoons Launches New Animated Series

Today, Doogtoons.com announces the upcoming launch of its new series, Doogtoons One-on-One, the world’s first and only fully animated celebrity talk show on the net!

If you follow the world of internet celebrities and digital video sites, then you’ve probably come across Doogtoons (http://www.doogtoons.com). If you haven’t, then you’re still missing out on one of the most popular independent series on the internet and the reason for Yahoo! Picks’ claim that “Not all podcasts and online videos suck”!

In the past year, Doogtoons has been acclaimed and featured on everything from Yahoo! Picks, to Channel Frederator, Google Picks, the front page of Yahoo.com and so much more. Recently, Doug Bresler, the creative genius behind Doogtoons, walked away with an award for Best Animated Short at the 2006 DIY Film Festival, received a 1st Place
Comedy award on Bolt.com, and even had one of his original series, Nick and Haig, picked up as part of G4TV’s Midnight Spank programming block.

Building on the momentum of the original series, Doogtoons has now ventured into the world of TV, music and movies to secure the best talent that free-publicity could buy.

Coming November 1, 2006, Doogtoons One-on-One will open with five-time platinumselling, multi-Grammy Award-winning musician and satirist, “Weird Al” Yankovic. Currently promoting his new album, Straight Out of Lynwood, Yankovic tells about the making of the CD, how he got his start in showbiz, and growing up “Weird Al”.

Immediately following will be legendary actor, comedian and songwriter Tommy Chong, (That 70’s Show, the “Cheech and Chong.” films), who will talk about the birth of “Chong” as a comedy icon, the secrets behind a possible Cheech and Chong sequel, and his recent time in prison.

The series will continue to feature comedians, TV personalities, actors and actresses, musicians, and more, so make sure to check out Doogtoons.com and stay tooned!
