Having recently upgraded my OS with Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7, I can't tell you how good the improvements are; but I'll try.
Download and Install IE 7
Internet Explorer 7 comes with a bunch of improvements that range from look to the borrowed-from-Firefox tabs system. Though I like the tabs on Firefox a little more, they were sorely needed on the IE browser as well. Microsoft has gone a step further by providing different ways to control and access your tabs, but those are strictly a user preference.
Once you get used to the updated browser and find all the tools you were once accustomed to, the best improvement you are likely to notice is how much better websites such as CanMag look. Fonts remain sharp, even when italicized. I have gone through a slew of my favorite sites and each looks significantly better. Webmasters sometimes use flash to create font this sharp, and now it looks like they won't have to.
Thanks to IE7's use of ClearType, a user's internet browsing experience should be even better. For those of you who don't know what ClearType is, it is a function that favors those who have an LCD monitor. Text now looks so sharp it is as if it were printed on paper.
A vast improvement and a highly suggested install (it's free!) for any avid internet browser.
