Bradley Cooper has found company on the set of Relativity Media's suspense thriller The Dark Fields with the addition of Robert De Niro.

Directed by Neil Burger off a script by Leslie Dixon, The Dark Fields centers on a down-and-out Gotham writer (Cooper) who comes into possession of a designer drug that gives him newfound intelligence and success. De Niro will play a brilliant financial mogul who begins pursuing Cooper's character.
Set for production in Philadelphia this May, the film is based on the novel by Alan Glynn. Universal Pictures will hire distribution.
