Directed by Luke Greenfield off novels by Emily Giffin, Something Borrowed centers on a Manhattan attorney (Goodwin), the consummate good girl, who falls in love with her best friend's fiance on her 30th birthday.
The only hold up with Krasinski is that boarding the project means an even bigger responsibility, as it would mean that he would have to appear in the sequel. The role is dynamic: Krasinski would have a supporting role in Something by playing Goodwin's good friend and confident, but then the sequel will boost his character's interest in Goodwin and make him the male lead.
