Siobhan Be Gone or Practically Chickless - Ryan thanked the viewers for the 33 million votes cast this week.
Rascal Flatts performed “Unstoppable”. The song is perhaps a little more easy rock than country.
The Ford Music Video was the best to date. Set to the song “Believe” our idols played vampires in pursuit of Big Mike in a convertible Mustang. Well done.
The contestants attempted to follow in Ryan’s footsteps and try their hand at voiceover work. He has a role in the new animated film, “Shrek Forever After”. The idols also attended a screening of the movie. Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas were on the idol set to plug the May 21st opening.

Finally to some results, “dim the lights”. Three groups of two were formed. Standing on the far side of the stage were Siobhan Magnus and Lee Dewyze. Taking center stage were Aaron Kelly and Crystal Bowersox. Closest to the sofa awaited Michael Lynche and Casey James. Ryan took Siobhan by the arm and told her to walk toward the sofa with him. In her mind I am sure she was thinking she was the first one to be safe. Not the case. He added her to the duo of Mike and Casey and announced, these were your Bottom 3.
Carrie Underwood introduced Sons of Sylvia. They have been performing together intermittently over the past five years and will now be touring together. They sang “Love Left to Lose”.
Lady Antebellum gave us “Need You Now”. This was certainly the highlight of the evening.
I don’t even know what to say about the Rascal Flatts/Shakira duet. Odd?
Ryan spoke the ominous words, “bring down the lights”. Mike was sent to safety. Siobhan Magnus would be going home. She chose to sing “Think” as her parting effort. Roll her “Idol Journey”.
