The indie hit of the Oscars is out on Blu Ray in a perfect HD edition. Since it’s a brand new movie, it just nails every possible look. Crazy Heart covers a lot too. From the rugged road to dive bar stages to massive arenas and lush suburbs and countryside, everything in Crazy Heart looks good on Blu Ray.

Perhaps most striking are the dive bar and nighttime arena scenes. Just from watching concerts on HDNET you know that that lighting doesn’t provide a lot of HD information. The fact that it can look as good as the daylit outdoor scenes shows they really paid attention to making Crazy Heart look great for posterity.
